The National Housing Expo is a FREE event designed to empower Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia ​residents on their real estate journeys. Hosted by Cheryl Jackson of Praise 104.1 FM radio.

This event offers something for everyone. Whether a first-time homebuyer navigating the process for the first ​time, a current home owner in need of resources, or a seasoned investor seeking new opportunities.

Attendees will have the chance to:

• Gain valuable insights and personalized advice from a wide range of industry professionals, including ​mortgage lenders, real estate agents and attorneys, home inspectors, title companies, and more.

• Attend informative sessions, workshops and presentations led by experienced speakers covering various ​real estate topics, such as financing options, protecting your assets with a will or trust, the home-buying ​process, and strategies for successful investing.

• Explore Resources and Programs from a variety of programs and non profit resources available to assist ​residents in achieving and/or maintaining their homeownership goals.

Attendees will preregister for workshops; but walk-ins are available for classes with openings

CREDIT COUNSELING

Credit counselors will meet with attendees on a first-come, first-served basis to provide free credit reports and ​counseling.

Mortgage Made Easy

Meet one on one with a Loan Officer to discuss qualifying for a home loan.

Easy Ways to Move from Renting to Homeownership

11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.

This workshop will cover benefits of Homeownership; Steps in the home buying process plus Do’s and Don’ts of ​Buying a Home.
